Hidden gem. Great value. So quiet. So much space. Great staff, great food, great wine. Wine tour was informative! We will be back!

My husband and I did an overnight stay. The room was beautiful with rocking chairs on the private patio. The place is remote, you should know that going in. If you want a quiet getaway night or two then this is definitely the place for you. I read a few negative reviews from people who brought their children. It's a winery, not Chuckie Cheese. After staying there I was irritated as I re-read some of the less positive reviews as I truly don't think they're justified.

Excellent red wines on a beautiful property. I'm a wine club member and they have monthly events and great benefits. I love the bistro and Sunday brunches.

Beautiful Winery to disconnect from everything and enjoy a nice glass of wine in front of an spectacular scenery. As soon as I walked in, was received with a big smile and such warm...the whole winery is big enough for you to wander around, while enjoying this little piece of Italy in TX. Room was in perfect state, balcony with rocking chairs and an entire view of the vineyards. Special thanks to Lauren, our Host and Wine tour guide! made above and beyond for my stay to be great.

The room and the entire place was beautiful, the staff was amazing, shout out to Tyler, who is awesome. They are really good about advising you of last call for food and drink if you're already there eating at the cafe. Yes, they close by 8:30 but there is wine in your room, and you can bring your own snacks, should you feel the need for something later on. If you get stressed over some of the things I've read on here then you need to stay someplace else. This is for people who love to be away from it all, enjoy beautiful starry nights, a very laid back atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, don't need waited on hand and foot and just want some space to decompress. Throw in the wine along with that and I'd say you've got a pretty amazing visit. I know ours was.

My husband and I just got married and came to the winery for a getaway. It is beautiful, the wine is wonderful, food is great (especially brunch). Our balcony room was absolutely beautiful inside and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We want to Personally thank Tyler, he went above and beyond to make our time here perfect and we can't thank him enough!!

Thank you,

If you go in the main building and there is no one to check you in wander around until you find someone or wait a bit and someone will show back up. They do a lot of multi-tasking there as you will see if you stay there for a day or two so their simply off doing one of many other things they do around there. No, it is not a hotel, but then they don't advertise themselves as such. It's more like an upscale B&B so set your expectations accordingly for your stay and you will have a lovely time. There is Salado only 20 minutes away for lovely shopping and eating and wine tasting as well, if you choose to leave the grounds.
